Gospel: “The kingdom of God is as if someone were to scatter seed on the land… of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.” (Mark 4:26, 28)

Meditation:
Mary is the soil where the Word took root. We learn from her the virtue of patience—allowing the Kingdom to grow in us “of its own accord”. She shows us that growth in grace is often quiet and hidden, requiring only our steady, faithful cooperation with God’s timing.
The Medal Connection:
The stars on the border represent the “fruit” of the Kingdom. Devotion to the Medal works quietly in the soul, like a seed growing in secret. The entwined “M” and Cross show that our growth is inseparable from Mary’s influence, leading us toward a full harvest.
Action Step: Practice “patient listening” this week, giving someone your full attention without interrupting.
